NAPA Announces the Top DC Wholesalers for 2015

ARLINGTON, VA — The National Association of Plan Advisors (NAPA) is pleased to announce the winners of its second annual list of top DC wholesalers, who act as “wingmen” for the nation’s leading retirement plan advisors.

This year’s list drew an overwhelming response – ten times the number of responses received in the inaugural voting in 2014.  Consequently, the NAPA Wingmen Blue Ribbon Panel, made up of leading plan advisors, decided to increase the number of Wingmen acknowledged to 100 this year.Finalists for this recognition were selected based on the vote of several thousand industry professionals from a list of nearly 500 wholesalers nominated by their NAPA Firm Partner record keepers and DCIOs, with oversight provided by a special Blue Ribbon Panel. With an estimated 1400 record keeping and DCIO external wholesalers working directly with advisors, this 2015 Wingmen list represents the top 7% of the industry.Additionally, for the first time, NAPA also released a list of Top 10 DCIO and Top 10 Record Keeper wholesalers who received the most recognition from the industry and the Panel. The Wingmen list is available at http://www.napa-net.org/Industry-Intel/Industry-Lists/2015-Top-Wholesalers and in the Spring Issue of NAPA Net the Magazine, with an accompanying article on the future of DC wholesaling, which will also be available on NAPA Net.NAPA Executive Director Brian Graff and NAPA Industry Ambassador Fred Barstein will acknowledge the winners and distribute the Wingmen pins on March 22 at the opening reception of the NAPA 401(k) Summit in San Diego, California.
