NAPA Announces the Retirement Industry’s Top DC Wholesalers

ARLINGTON, VA – The National Association of Plan Advisors (NAPA) is pleased to announce its list of 100 Top DC Wholesalers, who act as “wingmen” for the nation’s leading retirement plan advisors.

This year’s list drew an overwhelming response – 10 percent more than the previous year’s record response.  Finalists for this recognition were selected based on votes cast by several thousand advisors from a list of nearly 500 wholesalers nominated by their NAPA Firm Partner recordkeepers and DCIOs.

“We call them “Wingmen” because if they are doing their job, they have the advisor’s back in terms of information, tools, and support,” explained Nevin Adams, Chief of Communications & Marketing for the American Retirement Association, and Editor-in-Chief of NAPA-Net, the publication that sponsors the award.

With an estimated 1400 record keeping and DCIO external wholesalers working directly with advisors, this 2016 Wingmen list represents the top 7 percent of the industry.

In addition to the Top 100 list, for the second year in a row NAPA also released its list of the top 10 DC wholesalers in the recordkeeper and DCIO categories.

Both lists are available at http://www.napa-net.org/industry-lists/

The Top DC Wholesalers will be featured in the fall issue of NAPA Net the magazine.
